Village Vigil

A not-so-ordinary village on the edge of nowhere is tyrannised by monsters for mysterious reasons. You're the "lucky one" who's been chosen this time to keep watch, kill the monsters, or at least survive long enough for the others to escape. Will you be the first to break this bloody cycle of dying, or will you be just another corpse in the already overcrowded graves?

Village Vigil is a 2D, pixel art, roguelike, dark fantasy game inspired by Vampire Survivors and Archero. The story is set in the Dark Ages and revolves around the village of "Howlden". The village has been tyrannised by monsters for years. You play as a nameless villager chosen from the crowd, whose task is to protect the village and its inhabitants from the monsters' onslaught.
